Creating change together
Throughout December 2019 and January 2020 we worked in collaboration with the communications team to run a series of values-creation workshops. More than 50 of you got involved and helped to begin the process of determining what the core values should be for our newly merged organisation – BSW ICB.
Thank you to everyone who took part and shared what it means to work as part of BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire ICBs. Your conversations and discussions led to the development of a set of five values, which the executive team have seen and fully support.

Next steps
To bring these values alive we now need to shape what they each look like in action. This will help us to create a behaviour framework that will influence how we recruit new colleagues and provide development opportunities for all.
We have developed an easy-to-use workbook and have asked the senior leadership team to share it with their line managers. In your team meetings over the next few weeks, we’d like you discuss the BSW ICB values and capture your thoughts and comments in workbooks.
We’ll then use the information you provide to create the behaviour framework and a values statement to explain what each value means to you.
