Residents of Trowbridge and the surrounding area can find out more about a brand new state of the art Integrated Care Centre which will be opening in the town in early 2026 at an evening information event next week.

The event will take place on Thursday 11 September from 6.30- 8.30pm at the Holy Trinity Church (“The Church on the roundabout”) in Trowbridge and will be a great opportunity for local people to find out more about the new  centre.

Attendees will be able to meet representatives from Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (BSW ICB), the local NHS organisation behind the project, as well as local Councillors and staff from architecture group Archus.

They will also have an opportunity to hear more about the services that will be provided in the new building, see photos, plans and models and ask questions.

The £16 million centre will replace the nearby Trowbridge Community Hospital and deliver BSW ICB’s long-term strategic vision of putting more services in the heart of local communities.

The centre will act as a hub for multiple health and care services, with teams from different organisations working together under one roof to help provide local people with a seamless, more joined-up experience of the NHS.

Caroline Holmes, Interim Executive Lead for Cancer, Planned Care and Community at Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board said:

“The new Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre represents significant investment in state-of-the-art facilities and will bring real benefits to people living in the town and its surrounding areas.

“As the population of Trowbridge is expected to increase significantly over the coming years, the new centre will make it easier for more people to access health and care services, especially those within primary and community care.

“With construction nearing completion, we’re excited to invite local residents to this informal evening event to learn more about the centre and the positive impact it will have on our community.”

The evening drop in information session takes place on Thursday 11 September between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at the Holy Trinity Church (the Church on the roundabout), A363, Trowbridge BA14 9AA. Tea and coffee will be available.

This evening event is part of a wider programme of ongoing engagement, with pop-up information sessions set to take place at various locations across Trowbridge—including shops, libraries, and markets—between now and the centre’s opening.
