Rebecca Duffy

Rebecca Duffy is a qualified GP with over 30 years’ experience, more than 20 of which have been spent working in Somerset. She has a breadth of experience, having worked as a locum, an associate and a GP Partner both in Somerset and Tayside and participating in out of hours work until 2019.

Rebecca’s portfolio career has several senior leadership roles and a strong background in medical education. Currently Rebecca is an associate GP at Mendip Country Practice, Coleford, having stepped down as the senior partner and GP trainer at the end of 2026. She stepped down as the Clinical Director for Mendip Primary Care Network (PCN), one of 22 PCNs in England participating in the National PCN Test Site project, in September 2026.

Rebecca continues to undertake NHS GP appraisals and contribute to wider GP Educations as a facilitator for GP Clinical and Educational Supervisors Courses and as a SPEX Tutor (program to give additional support to trainees to improve their consultation skills). She is also a Non-Executive Director on the Somerset GP Support Unit Board.
