Rob Whiteman

Rob Whiteman CBE, was appointed Chair of the new cluster for NHS Somerset Integrated Care Board (ICB), NHS Dorset ICB, and NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire (BSW) ICB in September 2025.

Before this he was Chair of NHS Dorset and from 2022-2025 was the Chair of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. 

Rob held four CEO positions over a 20 year period, most latterly Chief Executive of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy until 2024. Previous roles included Chief Executive of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and Chief Executive of the UK Border Agency. Rob also has significant experience of working with the NHS from his time as Chair of North East London Sustainability and Transformation Programme (STP) and as a non-executive director and chair of audit at Whittington Health NHS Trust and Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Rob also serves as Lead NED at the Ministry of Justice and Treasurer of Queen Mary University of London.
