Find out more about exciting new integrated care centre coming to Trowbridge

Opportunities to find out more about the new Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre will be happening at community locations throughout the spring and summer months.
Representatives from the local NHS will be on hand at drop-in sessions taking place in and around Trowbridge to provide residents with information about the state-of-the-art centre, which is currently being built on land opposite the town’s existing community hospital.
The first drop-in session will be held on Friday 9 May at the Asda supermarket in the Shires shopping centre on Bythesea Road between 11am and 3pm.
Members of the public will be able to see images of the new centre, learn more about what services will be moving to the site and how the new facility will benefit Trowbridge and the surrounding areas.
There will also be opportunities to ask questions and share feedback.
Caroline Holmes, Interim Director of Place – Wiltshire, Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board, said: “It’s really important for local people to be a part of the conversation about what’s happening in Trowbridge.
“This new integrated care centre represents significant investment in improving the bricks and mortar facilities that people want to see at the very heart of their communities.
“This will bring real benefits to residents, with services available to support them at every stage of their lives.”

The new £16 million integrated care centre, which will replace the nearby and now outdated Trowbridge Community Hospital, is expected to open to patients in early 2026.
All patient-facing services currently based in the hospital, including the minor injury unit and X-ray department, will be relocated at the new centre, meaning there will be minimal disruption to how patients access care and treatment
The development of Trowbridge Integrated Care Centre comes at an exciting time for community-based care in Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire, and follows the appointment of HCRG Care Group as the new lead provider of an innovative partnership that brings together the NHS, local authorities and charities.
Through formal collaboration, the partnership has the aim of transforming the care and support that people receive at every stage of their lives to help them with their health and wellbeing.
