The ICB is looking to recruit an Independent Non-Executive Director (NED) for Quality.

This role offers a key position in the ICB and provides leadership to the ICB Board’s Quality and Outcomes Committee.

The successful candidate will be a compassionate leader and advocate for the delivery of integrated person-centred high-quality care, with a focus on patient safety, particularly around prescribed areas of service redesign, clinical pathways and system reform.

A recognised clinical qualification is essential, as are experience of operating at senior or board level, independent and proactive leadership skills, the ability to champion open, frank and disciplined discussion and being prepared to ask difficult questions.

The ICB seeks diverse, inclusive and compassionate leaders who not only reflect the community they serve and the staff employed, but also have the leadership style and breadth of perspective to make good collective decisions.

There is emphatic evidence that diverse boards make the best decisions, so people with different backgrounds, skills and experience are very much encouraged to apply.
