Jonathan Higman

Jonathan is the Chief Executive at NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB, NHS Dorset ICB and NHS Somerset ICB

Jonathan has over 20 years’ experience in the NHS with knowledge and understanding of both commissioning and provider organisations. Prior to becoming Chief Executive of NHS Dorset, Jonathan was Chief Executive of NHS Somerset. Before that he was the Chief Executive of Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where he led the trust to the point of merger with Somerset NHS Foundation Trust creating the first fully integrated Foundation Trust in England, responsible for the provision of acute, mental health and community services, together with almost a quarter of the general practice.
